Would you like your poetry performances to be heard by hundreds of people all over the world? Why not participate in this Internet-based audio Poetry Slam?

There's no cash prize, but then there's no fee to participate!

Submit your recording of a performance no more than around 3 minutes in length. It should be something you've written and performed yourself. It could be a live recording in front of an audience, or a studio recording. You choose.

Recordings can be in any format. Many people find sending an e-mail with an MP3 file the most convenient, but files in any computer file formats can be submtted. Alternatively you can send a CD or old-fashioned cassette in the post. Any way you can find to record your poem - even as a voice note on your mobile phone - anything is acceptable.

As people cast their votes, it would be great if we could get your feedback via e-mail, interview or audio diary.

Promote your website, your CD, your gigs. Be heard alongside some of the best up-and-coming performance poets. Maybe you'll be crowned the Slam Idol!
